Kittery, Maine | Intimate Seaside Wedding Ceremony | Maine Wedding Photographer

Meghan and Trever shared in an intimate cottage-themed ceremony by the sea with close friends and family on Badger’s Island in Kittery, Maine. Above all details from their special day, I have to note how excited these two were to finally marry after a long-distance relationship. Their smiles and love for each other was shared by all throughout their ceremony, and I am just as excited for them to finally start their journey together as a married couple.

I met Meghan and Trever the evening before at Fort Foster for a private portrait session in their wedding attire. I loved this idea, both to be able to take time to create romantic portraits, and also to maximize our time capturing their wedding day. Before the ceremony, I photographed Meghan in her mother’s wedding dress, and Meghan chose to have a first look with her flower girls and ring bearer.

Their ceremony was held at a private residence, and family pitched in to set up a reception tent and decorate the arbor. It was such a lovely ceremony with tears and laughter, and I adore that Meghan kicked off her shoes once she made her way down the aisle. The couple and their family celebrated their marriage with a luncheon overlooking the water.
