WHAT TIME OF THE DAY SHOULD WE HOLD THE SESSION
I schedule most sessions within a couple hours of sunset to capture you in beautiful, gauzy light. This time changes throughout the seasons. If we have dense clouds, we can make a game-day decision to start early. If an evening session doesn’t work for your schedule, we can shoot at another time, although it will be essential to choose a location that offers some shade for even lighting. If we must shoot in full sun, we’ll get creative.

WHAT SHOULD I/WE WEAR?
Giving advice on what to wear to a photo session is almost as challenging as choosing the outfits. The unsatisfying answer is that it depends. As a lifestyle photographer, I’m going to tell you to dress as you, but maybe with a bit more thought based on the goal for your images and what you plan to do with them. WHERE SHOULD WE HOLD THE SESSION?
There is so much beauty to be found in the Upper Valley and New England, but don’t discount your own backyard. When you book, I’ll send you a customized location list with options to choose from, unless you have a spot already picked out.
Travel
I travel up to 1 hour from Lebanon, NH, for portrait sessions, and will charge a modest travel fee for additional locations beyond that range, unless you have booked your wedding with me. Travel throughout NH, VT, ME, and MA is included in wedding services.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?
All my rates and packages include high resolution digital files and options to print from your gallery. You receive my time and talent, location scouting, as well as personal attention to create the images you are longing for. Album design and guidance for where to print is also available.
Image Delivery & Sneak Peeks
Digital images are delivered within 1-2 weeks for portrait sessions, and 2-3 weeks for weddings. Wedding sneak peeks are sent within 24-48 hours.

WHEN DO I PAY?
I require a 25% retainer for weddings and elopements to hold your date. I require a 10% deposit for all other portrait sessions. The final balance is due one week before your wedding, and on or before the date of your portrait session. Payments are made through a secure digital payment system. Installment plans and gift certificates are available.
Rescheduling for weddings is allowed when absolutely necessary. I will try to accommodate your new date as best I can. If you cancel your wedding services, your retainer is non-refundable to recover the loss of not being able to book that date.

WHAT IF IT STORMS?
The winter can be the most challenging time to hold shoots, but also the most beautiful. We will reschedule your session if needed, and I’m happy to play it by ear, as the weather changes so quickly in New England. I don’t expect you to stand in the rain! Although, I can picture a certain scene from The Notebook that we could recreate…if you are game 🙂 I am adventurous, but my goal is your comfort, always.
If you are traveling from out of town, please take into consideration that we may not be able to reschedule if we experience poor weather, however we can shoot inside if necessary.
