Woodstock, Vermont | Winter Wedding in Woodstock | Vermont Wedding Photographer
Amy and Riff’s sunlit winter wedding in Woodstock, Vermont.
This sweet couple from Texas visited Woodstock and fell in love with its charm and beauty. The joy they’ve shared here made it a special place to hold their intimate, winter wedding in Woodstock. While I don’t know if it was intentional, their ceremony occurred on the winter solstice. The day was sunny and mild. A fresh blanket of snow fell a few days before, making the town and Inn even more splendid.
They invited some close family to share in their celebration. Amy and Riff enjoyed a private first look, followed by portraits around the most lovely spots in Woodstock. We were comfortable and happy to be out on this bright, fresh day.
Greg Trulson officiated their ceremony in front of The Paul Barn at 3:15 in the afternoon. Later, we strolled through town to capture the newlyweds amidst the magic of the holiday lights.
There is something so special about small, intimate ceremonies and love celebrations. They allow couples to slow down and fully enjoy and be present with each other.
Riff with his quiet tone and wonderful sense of humor, and Amy, who is lovely and gracious, were appreciative of everyone who played a role in their day. I feel lucky they chose me to capture these memories for them!
My very best wishes to Amy and Riff, and hope they return to Woodstock over their years to relive these happy moments and make new ones.
