Couple standing and kissing in front of the Inn at Round Barn Farm

Blooming Spring wedding at the Inn at the Round Barn Farm | Vermont Wedding Photographer

Samantha and Peter shared in a stunning spring wedding at The Inn at the Round Barn Farm in Waitsfield, Vermont. While rain threatened their day, the weather held and the couple were able to enjoy the incredibly bucolic Vermont views and grounds that this Vermont wedding venue has to offer.

Samantha got ready with her bridesmaids and family in the Abbott suite. The foyer’s vintage floral wallpaper made for elegant images of Samantha’s Madeline Gardner gown. The Abbott suite is a lovely environment for getting ready, with ample natural light and mirrors. Samantha finished getting ready, putting on her shoes and veil, in the library/living room of the farmhouse inn, with help from her maid of honor. Peter got ready offsite at the Clay Brook hotel at Sugarbush Resort, with his groomsmen and family.

The first look was held at one of Round Barn Farm’s most recognizable features—second only to the round barn!—at the sweet foliage covered footbridge. The first look was held at the picturesque footbridge covered in spring foliage, followed by timeless wedding portraits. The flowering trees were in peak bloom. I positioned the couple as much as possible in front of the gorgeous rosy tones, among the gardens, on the stone staircase, and in front of the farmhouse. Samantha and Peter look wonderful together during these moments, such genuine smiles and so in love!

heir ceremony, officiated by Samantha’s brother, was held by the pond in front of a birch arbor. Their vows were full of joy and funny moments. Samantha has a musical laugh that filled wonderfully the entire day. Cocktail hour was held in the milking parlor of the Round Barn, followed by a twinkling reception above in the hay loft. The numerous rustic chic chandeliers and strand lights provided a stunning ambiance. Tables were topped with florals in shimmering jars and candles. The party began as soon as the wedding VIPs, and Samantha and Peter were introduced, and no doubt the celebration lasted well into the evening. It was truly a magical spring Vermont wedding! I am so thrilled to have shared in their day!
