Summer Wedding on Lake Winnipesaukee, Wolfeboro, NH

Becca and Kiran’s journey began with a splash, as teammates on their college swim team, where their shared love for the water evolved into a deeper connection. Their relationship bloomed despite the challenges of distance and demanding academic pursuits. Their commitment to each other lead to a courthouse ceremony in June of 2021, marking the beginning of their life together amidst the uncertainty of a global pandemic.

Though separated by continents as they completed their studies, Becca in the U.S. and Kiran in Australia, two years following their legal union, they chose picturesque Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, for a wedding celebration with family and friends. The event, held at a private residence around the 4th of July, was an enchanting lakeside affair with beautiful florals, lush scenery, and the expansive backdrop of the lake.

The ceremony was followed a cocktail hour on the lawn and dinner on long banquet-style tables on the porch, overlooking the lake. The dinner gave way to a spirited reception on the dock, a lively celebration under the stars, punctuated by fireworks at the evening’s end.

In a fitting tribute to their shared love for water and their journey together, Becca and Kiran, along with their guests, took a jubilant leap into the lake, closing the celebration with the same element that brought them together. This plunge was more than just a fun end to their wedding day; it was a symbolic gesture, tying the knot on their love story with a splash that brought their journey full circle.
