Wildflower Wedding at The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm | Vermont Wedding Photographer
Chris and Shannon were married in early June at a spring wedding at The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm in Quechee, Vermont. They chose seaglass colors and a wildflower theme for their wedding. The florals by Allioops! and color tones were simply beautiful throughout. The seaglass color theme was present in the bridesmaid dresses, arbor drapery, the gorgeous and unique glass vases they used for their seating chart, and the bridal bouquets, groomsmen boutonnieres, and the florals that topped the tables at their reception.
Both Shannon and Chris got ready at The Quechee Inn and shared their first look across the way at Dewey Landing against a backdrop of wildflowers and spring foliage. Following this private moment, we created romantic and fun portraits of the couple, and joined up with their wedding party, and the family back at the Quechee Inn. Their ceremony was held on the peaceful lawn, shrouded in trees. The stone terracing and steps down to the lawn made for a beautiful processional and lovely entrance of Shannon’s bridesmaids, and she and her parents who walked her down the aisle.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and lawn games, as well as passed hors d’oeuvres while Shannon and Chris enjoyed a few private moments together. I totally recommend all couples sneak away on their wedding day as time allows, to slow down and soak in the moment, as the day passes much too quickly!
Their reception glowed under the strand lights, chandeliers, and draping inside their tent. Outside, guests could enjoy the warmth of the fire pit and s’mores when not dancing the night away on the dance floor. It was a wonderful day for Shannon and Chris filled with laughter and tender moments that I know they will remember forever!
