Woodstock, Vermont Engagement Session with Trevor and Britny
This Woodstock, Vermont engagement session was my first portrait session to include a hike! Britny and Trevor brought along their dog, Nova. It always makes for extra sweet engagement photos when couples bring along their fur family. In addition to visiting in-town spots, we made the short trek up Mount Peg. The plan was perfect given fall foliage was near peak.
Britny is my niece and Trevor will be my nephew, so I have even more adoration for them and these images. I am flattered and excited that Britny asked me to photograph their engagement and wedding reception in August. They are adorable and I love them so much!
They chose Woodstock from my list of Upper Valley locations. We created some images around the covered bridge and the green. Britny found a sweet barn behind the church opposite the Woodstock Inn, where we captured some fun, casual portraits. Trevor amused with his leaf-tossing abilities. He skillfully through a bunch of leaves up in the air as I hit the shutter on my camera, capturing the leaves as they rained down on them. I love their playful personalities!
The hike up Mount Peg was quick and easy, despite a short, steep start of switchbacks. It was totally worth it. We caught some glow up on the summit and created images with Nova.
Britny and Trevor are planning an intimate destination wedding ceremony with immediate family, followed by a reception this summer to celebrate their marriage with family and friends.
It’s likely that Nova will be the guest of honor 🙂
