Hanover, NH Fall Wedding Proposal

Duncan contacted me in the late summer to capture his surprise wedding proposal to Meagan during their getaway to Hanover, New Hampshire in October. We lucked out with stunning weather, and the most vivid foliage I remember seeing at Foley Park. I arrived at the location Duncan chose to propose, and stayed in the background pretending to photograph the views of the golden leaves and river.

They wandered around the park after they arrived and sat quietly for a bit, enjoying each other’s company. Duncan walked Meagan over to a beautiful maple tree and got down on one knee, and the moment happened! Meagan was thrilled! It was an honor to capture this major moment for them as it unfolded so naturally. I gave them time together to enjoy their excitement as a newly engaged couple. After, we created engagement portraits with the gorgeous scenery behind them.

They plan a January 2022 wedding in Houston.
