Family Photo Session at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, Vermont

K contacted me in the summer to plan a fall family photo session at Riverside Farm with her husband and six-month-old daughter. I took a trip to the Pittsfield area to scout some locations, considering ponds near Killington and surrounding towns. I’m grateful to have explored their neck of the woods and discover Riverside Farm, which was close and convenient, perfect for a young family!

We met on a stunning September evening, the kind I hope to have for every photo session! The leaves were just starting to turn. We made our way around the farm, and toward the end, we included their family dog, Bolt, to join in a few portraits.

It was a challenge to wrap up the session as I knew we were creating gorgeous memories that they would cherish, photographing up until the last of the evening light.
