Newbury, NH | Family Photo Session at The Fells

It’s no secret I adore photographing at The Fells in Newbury, NH. I have photographed my own my family, other families, expecting parents, and a wedding here, and what I love most is the tranquil garden setting, the flowers, the variety of fields and architecture, and the view of the lake.

It was an ideal setting for this family with young girls. The Fells boasts endless sights to pique curiosity. We never stopped moving as the girls were able to wander and explore all there is to see here. It was an overcast day, and we arrived in the afternoon. Without the need to avoid the harsh sun, we were able to photograph everywhere on the grounds, which was a luxury for me. We gazed at the lily pond and tunneled through the epic rhododendrons to the formal gardens. My favorite images from their session were near the estate itself, amidst the beautiful architecture and the terraced lawn with its varied florals.

Working with this family a second year was such joy, especially bringing them to one of my favorite locations!
