Emmaleigh and Brian shared in a summer Vermont wedding at Mountain Top Inn & Resort in Chittenden, Vermont. 

They chose a classic dusty blue and bright wildflower floral theme with blooms sourced from the Inn’s onsite florist, The Meadow’s Edge onsite florist. The florals and theme was both colorful and understated. Emmaleigh’s bridesmaids wore beautiful blue dresses from Birdy Grey with alternating necklines that complimented the theme perfectly. Brian and his groomsmen wore blue coordinated suits.

While the couple had a gorgeous day, a brief rain storm fell during their first look. We made a quick decision to take cover in the loft above the barn, keeping dry and comfortable. The large glass windows in the space helped bring the views and wonderful natural surrounding of the property into the moment. The weather cleared quickly and we transitioned outside to the terrace for portraits.

We returned to Lakeview Lodge for family and wedding party portraits which boasts the most stunning backdrop! I am excited for future opportunities to photograph at this part of the grounds. I imagine it’s gorgeous in all seasons.

Lovely details of florals and candles filled their reception space. A dessert table with cake, treats, candy, and a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream cart added additional sweetness to the reception. The first dance and family dances paired with lively music from East Coast Soul were a highlight! I adore how Emmaleigh shared a dance with her mom, which her father joined.

I can’t say enough about this wonderful couple, and the beauty and love on their wedding day! Congratulations and best wishes in their journey!
