bridal couple cheers in fall dresses as couple kisses

Plainfield, NH | An Elevated Rustic Post-Elopement Wedding Reception

Britny and Trevor eloped in Alaska alongside their closest family and friends. Later in the fall they held a reception on family land to celebrate in a larger way with the rest of their friends and loved-ones. Their celebration included lots of greenery and candles, and clever, unique installations and details that really made their reception personal to them. The dinner catered by Marsh Brothers was delicious, as was all the treats by Heritage Deli & Bakery, and the party was a blast.

Many couples are opting for an elopement or microwedding for more reasons than those related to the pandemic. Some couples wish to say their vows in an epic location like Britny and Trevor, that would pose a challenge for guests to attend. Some couples crave the intimacy and joy of being present with each other by themselves, with just an officiant and creative team.

I love that couples are choosing to do what their hearts desire, as it is their day after all! It’s wonderful to be able to throw an additional celebration that is separate to share the love with a larger group of friends and family, as Britny and Trevor have done. It’s really the best of both worlds!

Thank you for allowing me to capture your joy, Britny and Trevor!
