Killington, Vermont | Surprise Wedding Proposal

Jacob proposed to Madison just before sunrise on a freezing, January morning at the base of Killington Ski Resort. Although it was only 3 degrees, our hearts were filled with warmth in the excitement of their moment! Jacob reached out to me months before to share his plans and to ask if I could capture his proposal. We coordinated ahead of time, and I made a trip over to Killington to scout the scene. The couple has been together for quite a while, yet somehow Jacob managed to keep his plans a complete surprise! Madison’s parents were there too, on a family ski vacation, and had the privilege to watch the moment unfold. After Jacob’s proposal, we regrouped and created portraits of the newly engaged couple as the sun rose.
