Cornish, NH | Fall Family Photography Session at Saint-Gaudens

I’m excited to share images from a New Hampshire fall photography session with a family whom I’ve photographed three years in a row.

This year we met up at Saint-Gaudens National Historic Park, which if you’ve been there, you know is a scenic destination that serves as the perfect backdrop for just about everything. We made our way around the grounds enjoying sculpture and gardens throughout the session. The boys wanted to explore and run, so we took care of business straight-away and created family portraits first, then portraits of the boys together, and individual portraits of each child. In between, I created portraits of mom and dad, the root of the family. This is how I like to structure all my sessions with children, as attention and patience is best in the first 20 minutes. For families with young children, the end of the session is unstructured. This time is great for candids, while everyone is more relaxed. We can get creative, and I keep my camera out to capture life as it happens.

Looking back on our previous sessions, their youngest son was only a small infant when we first met in Cornish at Langwood Barn in 2018.

Our next session was in Woodstock on the grounds of the History Center in the summer of 2019.

Their boys have grown so much. It’s fun to see my families change year to year. Each have their own unique personality and I can’t get over the golden curls on the littlest and the sweet words he’s forming!

Cheers to another year and another family session with this happy group.
