Woodstock Inn Vermont Wedding with Unique Autumn Details
Woodstock Inn Vermont Weddings have a special place in my heart, and for couples getting married here, I know they feel the same gravitational pull and are thrilled to share the experience of a Vermont wedding weekend with their friends and family. A fall wedding in Woodstock, Vermont is both idyllic and timeless, made even more romantic with the crisp air, a hint of woodsmoke, vibrant foliage, and cozy New England vibes.
In addition to getting married and sharing a place they love with family and friends, the couple were thrilled to work with Emma with Blue Door Flower Company to have a unique autumn theme of deep burgundy and blush toned florals alongside plums and figs—a unique take on an autumn theme. Seeing this elevated fall vision came to life at the charming Woodstock Inn was a treat for us all and a dream to photograph. I loved their pairing of fur and velvet in their wedding attire, and while their wedding occurred in late October, there was quite a bit of foliage left on the trees.
The couple chose a private first look on the back lawn of the Woodstock Inn. We captured portraits across the green at the covered bridge, making our way back to the grounds for wedding party and family portraits. Some of the most stunning portraits of the day were those on the lawn after cocktail hour when the outdoor lights twinkled in the trees, as well as the cozy portraits in the library. Hillary Fay Studios worked with the bride to plan a hairstyle change for cocktail hour and the reception, giving her a glamorous second look on the wedding day.
The glow of their wedding day continued in the ballroom which shimmered with the beautiful florals and candles, and turned into a lively evening with dancing and music by Clockwork Boston.
