Upper Valley, NH | Maternity and Newborn Session

Since J & M love to hike and the outdoors, a maternity session at Langwood Farm with its beautiful views of mountains and hills made it a perfect scenic and accessible location for them. I find new beauty each time I photograph at this spot. There is a lovely dirt road and fields that provide depth and foreground. Toward the end of the session as the sun set, we walked up a knoll and created some of my favorite images of the evening with their sweet German Shepherd.

When their son was born, we had a peaceful session creating images inside and outside their home, focusing on their connection with their new bundle. I love the intimacy and quiet of in-home newborn sessions. It puts parents at ease during a time of great adjustment, and the images are natural and document the environment into which they’ve welcomed their precious new life.
