Pittsfield, Vermont | Family Session at Riverside Farm

K contacted me in the summer to plan a fall photo session with her husband and six-month-old daughter. I took a trip to the Pittsfield area to scout some locations, considering ponds near Killington and surrounding towns. I’m grateful to have explored their neck of the woods and discover Riverside Farm, which was close and convenient, perfect for a young family!

We met on a sparkling September evening, the kind I hope to have for every photo session. The leaves were just starting to turn. Their little girl was smiley and bright, a dream to photograph. We made our way around the farm, and toward the end, they brought down their family dog, Bolt, to join in a few portraits, as well.

It was a challenge for me to end the session. We quite literally photographed until we ran out of light. I knew we were creating gorgeous memories that they would cherish.
