Gabrielle and Shawn’s garden estate wedding at The Fells, which is nestled in the forest close to serene Lake Sunapee, unfolded with elegance and memorable moments. The day began at the Bluebird hotel, where Shawn and his friends gathered and readied for the day. The scene shifted to Gabrielle’s preparations at their home, capturing the anticipation and joy of getting ready, from hair and makeup to slipping into her Mikaella Bridal dress with its classic bateau neckline.

Before the ceremony, the bridal party enjoyed portraits with Gabrielle, showcasing her timeless dress against the backdrop of the historic John Hay estate’s grand staircase. The ceremony itself was set in the rose terrace garden’s lush greenery, with Lake Sunapee and the mountain in view, creating a picturesque setting for their vows filled with beautiful music from a string quartet.
Post-ceremony, the newlyweds, wedding party, and family were photographed within The Fells’ breathtaking landscape. A wonderful unscripted moment was caught as the wedding party paraded down through the rock garden, a highlight of the grounds, toward the heather beds for group photos. After romantic “just married” portraits, Gabrielle and Shawn shared a private peek at their reception space, bursting with florals and beautifully brought to life by their planner, Jennifer Matthews from Memorable Events. The reception of dinner, catered by The Porch, heartfelt speeches, and dancing brought to life by Denon & Doyle, gave way a joyful bubble exit for Gabrielle and Shawn.
