Hanover, NH | Newborn & Family Photography

For my last session of 2019, I ventured out to Hanover on a brisk December morning to photograph this sweet family at their home with their newest addition, a baby boy who was just days old. I was surprised by how alert he was. He was awake for most of the shoot! I was thrilled to make some images of the two brothers together. Big brother was so careful holding him, and my heart twisted in cuteness as they interacted with each other. These moments of early brotherhood are so tender and new, forging a bond that will grow and grow and grow. I feel honored to document its root. In addition to capturing moments of mom and dad together with their new son, and the family together, I made some special images of their beloved dog, Maggie, who was ill and sadly passed away shortly after our meeting.

This session was a lovely finalé to another year photographing children, couples, events, and families, including my own. Each one shined a light on how uniquely we live, love, and connect. I am overjoyed and feel special to have had the privilege to take part in the dearest moments of so many.
