Michal and Juliana’s Spring Engagement Session in Woodstock

Michal and Juliana planned a trip to celebrate their spring engagement in Woodstock, Vermont. I was excited to work with Michal to surprise Juliana with an engagement photo session in Woodstock. There is so much variety for portraits, all within walking distance in this charming Vermont town. All the highlights are nestled close together. We visited Middle Covered Bridge and my favorite vantage point of it from along the Ottauquechee river. We stopped by the front gates of the Woodstock Inn, and created playful and beautiful portraits among the stonewalls and pathways at Faulkner Park. It was chilly, but manageable for a shoot. You can never be sure what the weather will bring in the spring, and surprising/unsurprising to see snow still on the ground so close to April. While the weather is variable, days are longer making it easier to find golden pockets of light around town. I adore Michal and Juliana’s expressions as they look at each other, bringing a natural glow and affection to each frame.
